Senior Procurement Manager
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Procurement Manager to lead all procurement activities for high-end interior design projects. This role is central to ensuring that furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) are sourced, purchased, and delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Management
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process across all interior design projects, from sourcing and negotiation to delivery, installation & aftercare.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Development and maintenance of our approved supplier database, with focus on luxury FF&E, bespoke joinery, finishes, and specialist contractors.
- Manage tender processes, prepare request for quotes (RFQs), evaluate quotes, and negotiate supplier contracts.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with a global range of suppliers, manufacturers, artisans, and contractors.
- Negotiate trade discounts, favourable payment terms, vesting certificates, and service-level agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes or quality issues.
- Work collaboratively with internal design, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with design intent and project budgets.
Budget & Cost Control
- Oversee procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with project cost plans.
- Track, monitor, and report on procurement spend; highlight risks and opportunities.
- Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising design quality.
- Complete financial reconciliation at the end of each project and share with clients.
Operational Delivery
- Ensure procurement schedules are aligned with overall project programmes.
- Oversee logistics, shipping, customs, storage, and delivery planning for global projects.
- Coordinate with warehouses and installation teams to ensure smooth handover and installation of FF&E.
- Implement and manage project bank accounts / client fund requests.
Leadership & Process Development
- Lead and mentor junior procurement team members.
- Develop and refine procurement processes, systems, and reporting tools for efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and legal requirements.
About you
The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of suppliers, materials, and manufacturing processes in the design industry, combined with strong commercial acumen and project management skills.
You will be able to demonstrate
- Minimum 5+ years’ procurement experience, within interior design, luxury residential, or hospitality projects.
- Strong knowledge of FF&E, bespoke manufacturing, finishes, and global supplier networks.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Financial literacy with experience managing budgets and reporting on procurement spend.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident working with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.
- Proficiency in procurement/project management software (e.g., EstiMac, Design Manager, Excel, ERP systems).
